Written Application

The first step of the UWC Maldives selection process involves submitting the written application. Each year the national committee opens up an application which requires interested candidates to give a brief overview of their backgrounds, interests, academic and extracurricular profile. The written application is evaluated to shortlist candidates for the next step in the selection process. UWC Maldives is currently accepting applications for the 2024-2026 cohort. The deadline for the application has been extended till 22nd December 2023, 23:59. More details in the application packages below. 

Selection Camp

Candidates who are shortlisted based on the written application are invited to a 1-2 day camp where they will participate in a variety of activities that will help the selection team to get a better understanding of the candidate.  Application will once again be evaluated after the camp and only short-listed candidates will be invited for the interview.

Interview

The last step of the selection process is the personal interview. The candidate will sit before a panel including UWC alumni and individuals from other organisations.
